Here's the image of the harmony in La Pantomime that I'm having trouble with. Why are the base notes that I have circled G's instead of F's? They seem to me to be really ugly & dissonant.
Here's another image from this score that I have questions about. In this case, the question is, why don't the 1/16th and 1/8th note runs add up to enough time?
And last but not least, here's a third image of stuff I don't understand. What's the doubled x on some of these notes mean?
